Our Story
House of Jade was created from a shared desire to help our children feel connected to their heritage in a way that feels natural, joyful, and deeply personal.
For Jenny, that meant finding ways to weave Asian culture into the everyday moments of childhood, from the stories and traditions to the celebrations and family rituals that quietly shape who we become. As a parent, she wanted her children to experience their heritage not only on holidays, but as a source of identity, belonging, and confidence. She hopes those experiences can also carry deeper lessons about self-acceptance, embracing who we are, and finding strength in our families and communities.
For Ivy, that idea came to life through storytelling. Together with her children, they wrote a storybook inspired by the legend of Chang’e and the Jade Rabbit. That story became The Adventures of Yue Yue: The Mooncake, with characters inspired by her own children, creating a personal way to carry tradition forward through imagination.
House of Jade brings those same ideas together: heritage, family, and the small moments that become lasting memories. Our clothing is designed to make culture feel present in everyday childhood, from sleepy mornings and bedtime stories to family gatherings and cherished traditions.
Because the most meaningful traditions are not simply passed down. They are lived, reimagined, and made our own.
Meaningful moments, rooted in heritage.
